​Billy James Blue is the stage name for singer songwriter Patrick Lynch.

"When I play solo sets, I'm Billy James Blue. When I invite my friends to join me, we are Billy James Blue."

Patrick plays pubs, breweries, wineries and has had gigs at concert venues all over and across California for nearly two decades. He has had the privilege of playing in parts of Nevada, Oregon, Hawaii, New York, Canada, England, Ireland, Scotland and the Czech Republic. He most recently began a search for the blues in the San Francisco and Monterey Bay areas, joining an ever-growing list of local blues greats at blues jams. He gigs for fundraisers, festivals, and special events. He also teaches second grade and brings rhythmic literacy into his classroom every day to support his learners engagement through the universal language of music.
